JOB DESCRIPTION

 This person will be a member of a scrum team, developing components for a leading software medical device (Synapse PACS). The Quality Assistant collaborates with his/her team members, in order to rapidly deliver low defect, high value releases.

Your day to day:

  • Quickly and deeply learn new user stories and features. Define, share and refine mental models
  • Determine risks and collaboratively develop a high level test charters
  • Explore the feature and rapidly provide feedback in the form of questions, reports and defects
  • Write clear and complete defects and test session reports
  • Innovate tools and processes to enable the team to test more effectively

What you bring to the team?

  • An individual with high attention to detail
  • Must be logical and analytical – If you like solving puzzles you probably are logical!
  • Must have a Bachelors degree in one of these fields – Engineering, OR Computer Science OR Bio-Medical engineering OR Bachelor of Science (with a major in any engineering or computer science).

JOB REQUIREMENTS (SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE)

•    Passionate about using technology to innovate, in order to deliver the best clinician and patient experience
•    Strong technical, logic and reasoning skills. Scripting/programming is a must
•    Hunger to learn. Able to synthesize well from partial information sources. Not afraid to identify and ask the awkward questions
•    Enjoys working in a team and vice-versa
•    Ability to handle fluctuating work loads
•    Able to see the big picture as well perform detailed analyses
•    Clear and concise verbal and written expression
•    Self-directed and goal oriented
•    Awareness of and advocate for industry best practices
•    Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or scientific field, or equivalent work experience
•    Good to have skills: Scrum, exploratory testing, SQL, C#, .Net MVC, JavaScript, Oracle, IIS, TFS, DICOM, Image Processing, software development, Unit Testing, clinical experience of medical devices
